A Japanese man has been attracting attention on the streets of Tokyo walking his pet giant African tortoise.

62-year-old funeral parlour owner Hisao Mitani says he has been taking his pet Bon-chan on daily walks for several years.

However, the striking reptile and his owner have recently become an internet hit, after photos of them walking around the city went viral.
