Presidential candidate Donald Trump frequently brags about the support he has received from police and retired military figures.
On Monday, he claimed that “virtually every police department” in the country had endorsed him. He has also claimed, as late as his third debate with Hillary Clinton, that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) had endorsed him as well.
But his claims are simply not true. But in the fast-moving world of politics today, maybe no one cares if he fudges the truth a little.
So, what’s closer to the truth?
