A trial date has been set in the case of the three Toledo area pastors charged with conspiring together to sex traffic children. Pastor Cordell Jenkins, Pastor Anthony Haynes, and Pastor Kenneth Butler– along with Jenkins’ wife, Laura Lloyd-Jenkins– appeared before U.S. District Court Judge Jack Zouhary for scheduling.
Zouhary set September 9 as the date for for imposed a deadline of July 19 deadline for any plea agreements the prosecution and defense might reach.
Ms. Lloyd-Jenkins, the former Lucas County administrator, is charged with obstructing a sex trafficking investigation and making a false statement.
