Derrick Rose accuser suing for $21.5 mil

The unnamed woman who has accused Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose of raping her in 2013 is seeking $21.5 million in damages, according to court documents.

The 29-year-old woman says she dated Rose from 2011 to 2013.  Rose has not disputed that claim.  According to TMZ, she says she was drugged and ganged raped by Rose and two of his friends after they broke into her Los Angeles apartment.

Not so, says Rose, who admits there was group sex, but claims it was consensual.

“The devil is working,” he said.  “I will be proven innocent.”

The case will be heard in federal court because Rose and his accuser lived in different states at the time of the alleged incident.  The parties return to court on Dec. 7.
